Last Day in First Grade

The Friday before Spring Break was my last day in first grade. We went on a field trip to the Portland Children's Museum. The kids had a blast! Here are some photos from our trip.



























It was hard to take pictures because the kids so busy have the time they would move right out of the picture!

I really enjoyed my time in first grade. I was fortunate to have such a wonderful group of students. I think they have taught me more about teaching and life than I taught them. I am going to miss all of them, but I am lucky enough to be at the same school for my next placement. In fact, I have a few of their siblings in my fifth and sixth grade class. It will be a big transition to teaching fifth and sixth grade. I am curious to see how that goes. I am about to begin writing my unit for fifth grade. I will be teaching science to the fifth graders after the break and then working my way up to full time.
